NEONI's Nursing Research Database Created to Support its Members

NEONI’s nursing research database, created to support Northeast Ohio nursing educators, students in the research process and clinical and administrative nurses, has entered its beta-testing phase. It was developed and is maintained by the Research Division of The Center for Health Affairs/NEONI’s Practice, Education, Research, Quality and Safety (PERQS) Center.
“The ultimate goal of the research database is to utilize technology and communication to share research outcomes and integrate the transition of new evidence into practice,” Spirko said.
Currently, beta testing of NEONI’s nursing research database is taking place at Akron Children’s Hospital, Summa Barberton Hospital, Kent State University and Ursuline College. Beta testing is expected to be completed at the end of the first quarter and is anticipated to be available to NEONI members by the third quarter of 2015.
This is a proprietary database that is password-protected. It will not be available for public use.
